(Halifax, NS) – A timeless and magical fairytale will leap from the page to the stage as Ballet Ouest de Montréal (BO Montréal) presents Ella – The Story of Cinderella at the Bella Rose Arts Centre in Halifax on Thursday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. 
 
Under the artistic direction of Claude Caron, this captivating production blends classical ballet, multimedia artistry, and inspirational storytelling for audiences of all ages.
 
Ella – The Story of Cinderella follows the journey of Ella, a young woman who overcomes hardship and discovers her own inner strength through kindness, courage, and resilience. Living within an unjust and oppressive household, Ella longs to escape her bleak daily life—until one transformative day when compassion and hope change her destiny.
 
The production features thirteen professional dancers from BO Montréal, joined by young dance students from the area, creating a rich intergenerational experience onstage. Enhanced by evocative multimedia interactions, exquisite costumes, and expressive choreography, the performance offers a truly enchanting evening of theatre and dance.
 
This performance is a powerful opportunity for young dancers to experience live ballet—to see professional artists up close, feel the energy of a full production, and be inspired by what is possible through dedication, creativity, and training.
